Delivery - Done

gmmarton delivered our first batch of blankets on the day before Thanksgiving. Here's what she wrote about her experience:

Our First Delivery of NE Worsted Weight Baby Blankets!!
We did it! We got six worsted weight baby blankets completed and delivered this afternoon to Ms. Anita P. Janson-Bower, Donor Relations Specialist, at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. My original contact, the Child Relations Therapist, was up in Pediatrics "on call" when I arrived, so she sent her colleague downstairs to receive our blankets.

Well, I will tell you, this woman nearly knocked me over! I wish all of you could have been there to experience her Bliss! She was ecstatic, to say the least! She couldn't get over the beautiful blankets, their unique patterns, and complimentary colors. She kept saying, "I hope you'll be coming back again!" I told her I would try to get more blankets over there before December 24th. The challenge is on...

Many thanks to those who helped out with these blankets in some capacity. A big thanks to Spikey for her brilliant organizing power.

We have much to be grateful for, especially when we can have experiences like I just had this afternoon.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Special thanks again to all who have given so tirelessly of themselves to make this project a success!

Updated blanket pics and progress are in the edited post below.
